Argavan speaks with Gabriele Nicolet, a speech-language pathologist with over 2 decades of experience working with families and children with speech and language difficulties and special needs. She is the executive director and owner of SpeechKids, where she offers coaching for caregivers to unlock the secrets of communication with their frustrated kids. Gabriele is also a parent coach and educator at Raising Orchard Kids, where she offers support for parents who are raising challenging and/or neurodiverse children. Gabriele received her Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Maryland. She is licensed in DC, Maryland, and Virginia, and is a member of the American Hearing and Speech Association (ASHA). Argavan and Gabriele discuss the importance of learning language in comparison to physical developmental milestones in young children, red flags or warning signs caregivers should look for, how speech and language are tied to a myriad of other lifestyle factors, neurodiverse children and much much more!
