According to The National Diabetes Statistics Report, over 1 in 10 people in the US have diabetes and more than 1 in 3 people have prediabetes, which is a condition in which blood sugar is consistently high but not high enough to be Type 2 diabetes. Without intervention, it is likely to become Type 2 diabetes in a few years. On this episode of the Baby Steps Nutrition Podcast, Argavan speaks with Bridget Wood, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist and a person living with Type 1 Diabetes.
