When her children were younger, she became determined to use as many natural remedies as possible. She had her own lightbulb moment when it came to her own health. That’s when she decided to become a conscious consumer and live as toxin-free as possible. Most of us, when we think about our health, we think of exercise and food. But do we really ever consider what toxins can be in our homes that re making us “feel not quite right?”. The truth is, our homes can be filled with over 500 chemicals! There is even a term that is being used to describe this- Toxic Home Syndrome (THS). The problem is- the amount we are exposed to on a daily basis; from the water we drink, foods we eat, air we breathe and on top of that, the products we use in our homes for cleaning and personal care, are overwhelming our detoxification system.
